Japanese Cultural Experience ～Experience making Washi (Japanese Paper)～
Each year, Kochi Castle Museum of History provides opportunities for people from other countries to experience traditional Japanese culture. This year, we will introduce Japanese paper, which has been made in Kochi Prefecture for a long time. In addition, participants will have a chance to try their hand at making washi. English explanations will be provided, so even those who are not good at Japanese conversation can participate.
Please take this opportunity to experience the wonder of Japanese washi culture.
高知城歴史博物館では、毎年、外国人の方を対象に、日本の伝統文化を体験する講座を開催しています。今年は、高知県で古くから作られてきた和紙についてご紹介し、紙漉きの体験をします。
